Antitrust and Antidumping
Besides the advice given to clients who engage in mergers and acquisitions in order to make their transactions comply with the antitrust legislation, our Firm has been actively involved in unfair competition cases processed by the Antitrust Superintendence, the antitrust governmental agency in Venezuela. We also examine exclusive distributorship, franchise, and non-compete agreements of our clients to assure their compliance with the Venezuelan antitrust law, and address consultations or requests to the administrative authority regarding the application and interpretation of the law to particular situations, transactions or documents.
Our attorneys have also developed expertise in antidumping matters and unfair international trade practices.
