DECLARATION AND PAYMENT OF CONTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL FUND FOR SPORT DEVELOPMENT – EXTENSION

Resolution No. 053/19 of April 5, 2019, issued by the Ministry of the Popular Power for Youth and Sport, was published in Official Gazette No. 41.621 of April 26, 2019 (the “Resolution”). The Resolution extended for 60 calendar days, as from May 1, 2019, the period of time for declaring and paying the contribution to the National Fund for Sport, Physical Activity, and Physical Education Development, from the companies and other public and private organizations that perform economic activities for profitable purposes in the country and are subject to said obligation.

The Resolution also established an extension of 25 calendar days, as from May 1, 2019, of the period of time to pay the contribution to the aforesaid Fund, which is applicable to all of the companies or other public or private organizations that performed their obligation to file the relevant declaration by April 30, 2019. This extension will be applicable solely to the first portion of the payment for the companies that decided to pay the whole contribution in cash, that is, the other portions must be paid with a period of up to 25 calendar days among each payment and another.

The Resolution became effective on April 26, 2019.
