Republication - Medicine Control Integral System
The Joint Resolution of the Ministries of the Popular Power for Health, for Commerce, for Science, Technology, and Innovation, and for Nourishment, was published again, due to printing errors, in Official Gazette No. 39.930, dated May 25, 2012. Said Resolution implemented the Medicine Control Integral System (Sistema Integral de Control de Medicamentos). The new printing modified article 17 of the Resolution when it established a period of forty-five (45) working days after publication for the obtainment of the Single Guide for Transportation, Monitoring, and Control of Medicines and for requiring said Guide. Said period of time may be extended for shorter, equal, or longer periods of time, through a Resolution of the Ministry of the Popular Power for Nourishment. This period of forty-five (45) working days ends on July 31, 2012. Therefore, as from August 1, 2012, the Single Guide for Transportation, Monitoring and Control of Medicines may be demanded.
