Presentation of Projects in the Labor Ambit to the FONA
Ruling No. 001-2013 of the National Anti-Drug Fund was published in Official Gazette No. 40.286 of November 4, 2013. Said Ruling establishes that the projects of Prevention in the Labor Ambit must be presented to the National Antidrug Fund (Fondo Nacional Antidrogas – FONA) in a period within ninety (90) calendar days, after payment of the contribution corresponding to the fiscal year immediately preceding that in which the contribution is to be determined, in order to make the relevant technical and cost evaluations for the purposes of complying with the execution of the project presented.
The Ruling establishes that the Project of Prevention in the Labor Ambit may only be presented by private legal persons, consortiums and public entities with entrepreneurial purposes the fiscal year of which ended before the time limit established for receipt of projects and after having made the relevant one percent (1%) contribution.
If the private legal persons, consortiums and public entities, with or without entrepreneurial purposes, do not present the projects of prevention in the labor ambit on the date established in the Ruling, the “FONA” will use the contribution not executed for financing plans, projects, and programs of integral prevention and drug traffic prevention, approved by the National Anti-Drug Office.
Ruling No 001-2011 of February 1, 2011, published in Official Gazette No. 39.622 is repealed, as well as any rules with a higher or lower status that contravene the provisions of the Ruling.
The Ruling became effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
