List of Products not Requiring Health Registry

Resolution No. 263, issued by the Ministry of the Popular Power for Health, was published in Official Gazette No. 40,676 of June 5, 2015. Said Resolution issues a List of Products that  because of their Nature and Particular Characteristics are not Required to Have a Health Registry (the “Resolution”) 

 

According to the Resolution, there are various products categorized as low-risk products, as well as others that by reason of their nature, particular characteristics, and use are not to be considered health consumable supplies and, therefore, are not to be subject to the relevant health authorization in the form of health registry.

 

Article 1 of the Resolution contains a list of 1,055 products that will not require a health registry for their manufacture, importation, conditioning, storage, disposal, and commercialization. In the case of imported products contained in said article 1, no previous import permit will be required in order for them to enter the country. Likewise, the Resolution establishes that the issue of documents to support exportation, such as certificates of free sale, certificates of exportation, and certificates of good manufacturing practices of such products, will be subject to the applicable rules. 

 

The Resolution became effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
